Tim brings over two decades of leadership experience across commercial banking, financial services, and people development to Northern Comfort & Co. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with individuals and teams to build trust, establish clarity, and deliver consistent results in high-expectation environments.
Before founding Northern Comfort & Co., Tim spent more than 20 years in financial services, where he led teams, advised business owners, and developed a deep appreciation for the systems, habits, and standards that underpin long-term success. His background in coaching and personal development further shaped his belief that how people think, show up, and take responsibility directly influences outcomes — in business and in service.
At Northern Comfort & Co., Tim is responsible for the company’s vision, culture, and overall service philosophy. He is deeply focused on building a business that values presence as much as performance, and people as much as process. His approach centers on thoughtful growth, meaningful relationships, and creating an environment where teams are empowered to take pride in their work.

Michele Whelan
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Michele brings a career rooted in leadership, brand development, and client experience to Northern Comfort & Co., including several years of hands-on operational leadership within large, multi-location residential cleaning organizations. Working directly inside high-volume home service environments, she developed a deep, practical understanding of team management, service standards, scheduling, and quality control at scale.
Prior to co-founding Northern Comfort & Co., Michele provided consulting and operational leadership support to established residential cleaning businesses across Toronto’s downtown and west end. During this period, she played a key role in scaling teams from early-stage operations to fully staffed, high-performing organizations — strengthening recruitment practices, training programs, and service consistency while supporting sustained client demand.
Michele is known for her ability to recruit, train, and support service professionals in a way that balances accountability with care. Her leadership contributed to stronger team engagement, consistently full schedules, improved client retention, and a noticeable rise in client feedback and referrals. She believes exceptional service is never accidental — it is the result of systems that support people and standards that are clearly defined and consistently upheld.

She designs the operational frameworks that allow teams to succeed while ensuring every home reflects the care, professionalism, and elevated comfort the brand is known for. Robin
Regional Manager, Toronto West
Robin brings extensive residential cleaning experience and strong operational leadership to Northern Comfort & Co. Prior to joining our team, she spent six years with an established Toronto cleaning company, where she developed expertise in professional cleaning, team training, and quality assurance. Her earlier hospitality experience also shaped her appreciation for exceptional standards and thoughtful presentation.
As Regional Manager for Toronto West, Robin supports our cleaning professionals, conducts in-home assessments, oversees quality assurance, and helps ensure every home receives the elevated level of care our clients expect.
Robin has a passion for helping homeowners feel truly settled in their spaces. Known for her attention to detail, she believes it's the thoughtful finishing touches—from perfectly made beds to beautifully folded towels—that transform a clean home into a welcoming one.

Comfort Concierge
Gail brings three years of professional residential cleaning experience to Northern Comfort & Co., along with a background in customer service, personal support, and client care. At her previous Toronto cleaning company, she became a favourite among many regular clients, earning outstanding reviews and frequent requests for her return.
Known for her attention to detail, Gail takes pride in meticulous dusting, thoughtful organization, and the finishing touches that make a home feel polished, welcoming, and truly cared for. Her experience supporting seniors has also shaped her patient, compassionate approach and genuine respect for each homeowner's unique needs.
Reliable, attentive, and caring, Gail is committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring every client enjoys a consistently elevated experience. Gail is fluent in both English and French.
Jessica brings a strong background in organization, project coordination, and home presentation to her role at Northern Comfort & Co. With experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and maintaining high operational standards, she approaches every home with a thoughtful and detail-oriented mindset.
She has a natural eye for organization and styling, and enjoys helping create spaces that feel calm, balanced, and beautifully maintained. Jessica particularly appreciates the impact that thoughtful finishing touches, decluttering, and well-organized spaces can have on how a home feels for the people who live there.
Her background in project management allows her to approach each home with structure and efficiency, ensuring that every visit is completed with care, consistency, and attention to detail.
